You Were Created To Be A Worshiper

“But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” (John 4:23-24)

You can’t divide human beings up into two categories – those who worship and those who don’t.

Everyone falls into one category – we are worshipers. What we worship and how we worship might vary, but the heart of the human being was designed to worship.

Of course, God was meant to be the sole recipient of our worship, but sin devastated that.

We now find temporary idols to replace worship of God. You can’t fall into the trap of belief that says you only worship Sunday at a church service or at a weekend conference.

Worship is first our identity before it is ever our activity.

Every day you will worship, and it won’t always be the Lord. As long as sin remains, you will be drawn to worship things that you were not designed to worship.
