The Silence of God
The silence of God is not the shunning of God. It may feel like it, “…. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” (Heb 13:5)
Our feelings are highly overrated. Human feelings and emotions are one the most unreliable of all factors in determining truth. Facts and feelings are infinitely apart at times and are often not the same.
We might feel lost one day and saved another, but God promises that no one and nothing can snatch you out of the hands of Jesus and the Father.
“I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me, for my Father has given them to me, and he is more powerful than anyone else. No one can snatch them from the Father’s hand.” (John 10:28-29)
It doesn’t matter if you feel that’s true; it is! You might not feel like that’s true, but what you feel doesn’t change what is true!
The silence of God is not the end of how He is working all things out, good and bad things, for your very best. “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” (Rom 8:28)
The verse doesn’t say, it will work out so you’ll feel the best about things. Truth surpasses feelings. Every Word of God rules every word of doubt!
