Stop Believing God To Fulfill Promises He Never Made

One of the best things we can do is trust God to fulfill the promises He’s made. One of the worst things we can do is to trust Him to fulfill promises He never made. We can become angry and bitter as a result.

We think it’s God’s plan, but it’s actually our plan. You’re believing God will fulfill a promise that He never made. And when He doesn’t, faith comes crashing down. You’re confused, embarrassed, angry.

He didn’t do what you expected, but He never said He would. You put words in God’s mouth that He never said. And when your dreams didn’t come true, you think He failed you.

We’ve got to stop trusting God to fulfill “these” promises!
