Restoring Peace…

This morning my heart is pounding in prayer for those who are needing ‘restoring shalom’. For some, this Christmas season is filled with pain of loss, hurt and change.

What is Shalom? In short, it means “peace.” While God is the only One who can bring Shalom to full completion, He invites us to participate in the restoration process.

“And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God.” (Rev 21:3)

The stunning beauty of this verse cannot be captured. Today will you meditate on the magnificence of the name Emmanuel: “God with us.”

You’ve been called to embody His presence. You’re the tone of His voice; you’re the look on His face; you’re the touch of His hand, you’re His mercy; you’re His compassion; you’re His grace; you’re His faithfulness; you’re His love!
