Holy Week is about the power to start over again. God gives us the power to change and to be different.
I’ve discovered that I can learn from the past, but I’ve also learned I can’t rediscover my future looking back. God’s purpose is never behind you, it’s always ahead of you!
Think about Peter, a short-time after all his failure, he was standing and preaching to a crowd of people boldly on the day of Pentecost. He went from a terrible failure to fruitful ministry because he got to Jesus with his failure and began to follow Him.
Application: Failure is your greatest friend when it causes you to love Jesus more. The most important thing that you can do like Peter, is to love Jesus more than your failure. If you love Him, He’ll redeem every failure.
Holy Week is not about big musical productions. Big numbers, big crowds. It’s really about a personal, intimate, internal change that happens IN you. It’s about change!
