God values His name.

I am so grateful for the response to yesterday’s message. “Taking A Step Of Faith.” I am truly overwhelmed from the calls I received on how it touched people’s lives. The beginning of the message was completely interrupted by the Holy Spirit, which is why I believe it touched people. Something very powerful happened and I believe this is but the beginning.

God Values His Name Above everything else in this world! The “name” of Jehovah refers to His authority and reputation. God wants a people who personally stake their lives on the authority and the reputation of His Name.

God wants a people who Know, Reverence and Honor His Name. His name is synonymous with His Power, His Faithfulness, His Love, His Mercy, His Glory, His Being!

The Bible that most of us read, and believe is living and God is inspired, and is only what it is because of the Name of God!

I know we all love the song, “The Blessing” and it is a blessing but we stop at verse 26, but read verse 27 too.

“And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, This is the way you shall bless the children of Israel. Say to them: The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.” (Num 6:22-26)

27 “So they shall put MY NAME on the children of Israel, and I will bless them.”

God had chosen the Jews to set His Name upon them, and to bless them. God enters into a partnership with the people He puts His Name on them. As Christians, God puts His Name on us! Think about it!
